Annual Sports Week 2022

Pragya Girls School hosted its three day Annual Sports Week,SPARDHA on 4th – 6th January 2023. A much awaited event filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The chief guest for the Inauguration day was Dr.Ajay Kumar Sahani, Professor Physical Education Department,DAVV. The day started off with a very Impressive March past by the Four Houses players lead by there respective house Captions. A lovely, energetic and rythmic drill was demonstrated by the school girls.Another highlight of the day was the lighting of the Torch which was carried by all the House Captions.The School Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest and respected Principal

Ms.Reshma Juneja. The School band

kept the audience enthralled. Students took active participation in various competitive sports activities & made this Sports Week

interesting.The whole school buzzed with the cheering of the house members and boosting the moral of the players .

Last day witnessed various sports activities for teachers, which was indeed enjoyed by the students.

On 6th January the closing ceremony was held with Prize & Certificate

Distribution ceremony by the School Principal, she thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised children to keep up their sportsman spirit. Vote of thanks was proposed by the school Head Girl Ms Disha Gurjar.

indirectly to make Pragya's SPORTS WEEK 2023 a successful event.

In all the whole sports week was fabulous and entertaining, students departed with a clear smile and lots of memories with them.

जैसा कि हम सब जानते हैं की खेलकूद मानव जीवन का अभिन्न भाग रहे हैं इससे सिर्फ शरीर ही चुस्त तंदुरुस्त नहीं बनता बल्कि दिमाग भी क्रियाशील बनता है और शायद यही कारण है की खेलकूद को शिक्षा के साथ-साथ पाठ्यक्रम में रखा गया है प्रज्ञा गर्ल्स स्कूल में तीन दिवसीय स्पोर्ट्स मीट का आयोजन किया गया इस मीट का शुभारंभ देवी अहिल्या विश्वविद्यालय फिजिकल एजुकेशन विभाग के प्रोफ़ेसर अजय साहनी द्वारा विधिवत मशाल जलाकर ध्वजारोहण के साथ किया गया ।इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के चारों सदनों के विद्यार्थियों ने मार्च पास्ट का प्रदर्शन किया एवं साथ ही खिलाड़ियों में उत्साह भरने के लिए एक मनमोहक ड्रिल का प्रदर्शन भी किया गया श्री साहनी ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी को किसी न किसी खेल को अपने जीवन का हिस्सा बनाना चाहिए खेल ध्यान केंद्रित करने का सबसे अच्छा साधन है मानसिक और शारीरिक दोनों तरह का विकास खेल के द्वारा ही संभव है ।

3 दिनों तक चलने वाले इस आयोजन में लगभग सभी खेल प्रतियोगिताओं को शामिल किया गया जैसे एथलेटिक्स से जुड़ी सभी गतिविधियां बास्केटबॉल स्केटिंग क्रिकेट छात्राओं ने उम्दा प्रदर्शन करते हुए स्पोर्ट्स मीट को सार्थक बनाया प्राचार्य श्रीमती रेशमा जुनेजा ने सभी खिलाड़ियों का हौसला बढ़ाते हुए उन्हें आगे बढ़ने की नसीहत दी एवं कहा की असफलता से निराश ना होते हुए खेल हमें यह सिखाता है कि फिर दोबारा प्रयत्न करने पर सफलता जरूर मिलती है ।

तापमान में गिरावट के बावजूद छात्राओं में असीम उत्साह देखा गया सभी शिक्षकों ने भी तीन दिवसीय इस आयोजन में बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सेदारी की

इस आयोजन का समापन प्राचार्य सुश्री रेशमा जुनेजा के हाथों संपन्न हुआ एक जोशीला गीत प्रस्तुत किया गया एवं साथ ही साथ पारितोषिक वितरण भी किया गया
